Salvarani was one of the most iconic Italian squads of the 1960s and early 1970s, built around the extraordinary talents of Felice Gimondi, one of only a handful of riders to have conquered all three Grand Tours. Wearing that unmistakable pale blue, Gimondi claimed the Tour de France in 1965 as a young neo-professional, then went on to win the Vuelta a España and the Giro d'Italia, cementing his place among cycling's all-time greats. The Salvarani brand — a kitchen and appliance manufacturer from Parma — became synonymous with elegant, attacking racing, and their jerseys were a fixture on the most prestigious podiums of the era.
