CLAS–Cajastur was a Spanish professional cycling team that lit up the peloton throughout the late 1980s and into the 1990s, backed by the Asturian savings bank Cajastur. Racing under the rugged spirit of northern Spain, the team produced notable stage race performers and became a familiar presence at the Vuelta a España, where their distinctive kit stood out against the sun-scorched roads of the Iberian Peninsula.
