St Raphaël-Helyett-Hutchinson was one of the most formidable French squads of the early 1960s, built around the brilliance of Jacques Anquetil during his remarkable run of Grand Tour dominance. Backed by the popular apéritif brand St Raphaël, the legendary Helyett bicycle manufacturer, and Hutchinson tyres, the team carried a distinctly French elegance both on and off the bike. It was in these colours that Anquetil claimed his third and fourth Tour de France victories in 1961 and 1962, cementing his reputation as the supreme time trialist of his generation. The striking red, white, and grey palette became synonymous with an era when French cycling reigned supreme and sponsors were as iconic as the riders themselves. Wearing this jersey is a tribute to a golden age when style and speed were inseparable on the roads of France.
