SCIC — Società Industriale Cucine Componibili — brought the flair of Italian kitchen design to the professional peloton during the 1970s and early 1980s, sponsoring a squad that paired beautifully with the legendary Bottecchia framebuilder. Riders like Wladimiro Panizza wore these colours with distinction, notably finishing on the podium at the Giro d'Italia and proving that SCIC was far more than a furniture sponsor playing at bike racing.
