Under the leadership of Giorgio Squinzi, the Italian adhesives magnate who poured his passion into the sport, Mapei assembled a roster so deep they famously swept the podium at the 1996 Paris-Roubaix with Johan Museeuw, Andrea Tafi, and Gianluca Bortolami. That kaleidoscopic jersey — a patchwork of bold colour tiles inspired by the company's own branding — was unlike anything else in the peloton, turning every race into a moving work of art. This long sleeve edition captures the spirit of those autumn classics, when Mapei riders powered through rain-soaked cobblestones in Flanders and northern France.
