La Casera-Bahamontes was the Spanish team that bore the name of one of cycling's most legendary climbers, Federico Martín Bahamontes, the "Eagle of Toledo." Bahamontes had already conquered the 1959 Tour de France and claimed six King of the Mountains titles before lending his name to this iconic squad in the early 1970s. Sponsored by the popular Spanish soft drink La Casera, the team's striking red, white, and green livery became a familiar sight across the roads of the Vuelta a España and beyond. The bold graphic design and vivid colour blocking capture the spirit of an era when Spanish cycling burned with fierce pride and theatrical panache.
