Under the guidance of Alfredo Gios, the brand supplied frames to the legendary Ijsboerke-Gios and Brooklyn teams, with Roger De Vlaeminck — the "Gypsy" — piloting them to four Paris-Roubaix victories over the cobblestones of northern France. The distinctive tricolore stripes of the Italian flag slashing across the white body pay homage to the brand's proud Torinese roots, while the Clement logo recalls the era when tubular tyres from the famed Milanese manufacturer were glued by hand to polished rims.
