The 1983 season saw Giuseppe Saronni, fresh off his rainbow jersey triumph, leading the team with explosive sprints and fierce tactical racing across the Italian classics and the Giro d'Italia. That bold yellow and black livery became instantly recognizable in the grupetto, cutting through the grey of early spring races like a shaft of Mediterranean sunlight. With Sella Concor saddles completing the all-Italian ensemble, this was a team that embodied the golden age of Italian cycling craftsmanship, where every component — from frame to jersey — was a statement of national pride.
