Under the tactical brilliance of directeur sportif José Miguel Echavarri, the team propelled Pedro Delgado to Tour de France glory in 1988 and nurtured a young Miguel Indurain, who would go on to dominate the Tour like few others before him. The striking red and yellow livery — echoing the colors of the Spanish flag — became a symbol of Iberian pride tearing through the mountain passes of the Pyrenees and Alps. Reynolds Papel de Aluminio, a household name in Spanish kitchens, found itself immortalized far beyond the domestic sphere, its logo blazing across finish lines from Paris to the Vuelta a España.
