G.S. Ignis was the cycling squad backed by the Italian home appliance giant Ignis, a company born in the industrial heartland of Lombardy that brought the same fiery ambition to professional racing as it did to its refrigerators and washing machines. Active through the late 1950s and into the 1960s, the team rode in an era when Italian cycling was a national obsession, and every factory worth its name wanted a squad on the roads of the Giro d'Italia. The striking yellow and red livery became a recognizable flash in the peloton, carrying riders through sun-baked Italian stages and grueling Alpine climbs. Riders like Ercole Baldini, the 1958 World Champion, wore the Ignis colors with distinction, lending the brand a prestige that transcended sport. This reproduction captures all the warmth and boldness of that mid-century Italian design, a jersey that looks as alive today as it did tearing through the streets of Milan decades ago.
