Castorama burst onto the professional peloton in the late 1980s, bringing the colours of France's beloved home improvement chain to the grandest stages in cycling. Under the guidance of legendary directeur sportif Cyrille Guimard, the team nurtured extraordinary talent, most notably Laurent Jalabert in his early years and the brilliantly aggressive climber Luc Leblanc. The striking blue jersey with its bold yellow lettering became a familiar sight at the front of the Tour de France throughout the early 1990s, a period when French cycling still dared to dream of homegrown glory. With its crisp white vertical stripes and vibrant red and yellow sleeve bands, this design captures an era of optimistic, attacking racing and unmistakable Gallic flair.
