Team Z burst onto the professional peloton in the late 1980s, quickly becoming one of the most recognisable squads in the bunch thanks to their bold blue and pink livery and that unforgettable comic-book styled logo. Under the direction of Roger Zannier, whose children's clothing empire gave the team its name, riders like Greg LeMond and Robert Millar wore these colours to some of cycling's greatest victories. LeMond's legendary 1989 Tour de France triumph — won by just eight seconds on the final time trial into Paris — remains one of the most dramatic moments in the sport's history, and he did it draped in these very hues.
