Team Bic was one of the most recognizable squads in the professional peloton during the late 1960s and early 1970s, their bold orange and white livery a familiar sight on the roads of France and beyond. In 1973, the brilliant Spanish climber Luis Ocaña finally conquered the Tour de France in devastating fashion, winning six stages and claiming the maillot jaune by a commanding margin in what many consider one of the most dominant Grand Tour performances of the era. This jersey pays tribute to that golden summer, blending the iconic yellow of the race leader's jersey with the playful Bic branding and its famous pen-wielding cartoon character. Ocaña had been haunted by his crash-induced abandonment while leading the 1971 Tour, making his triumphant return two years later all the more poignant and celebrated. Wearing this piece is a nod to one of cycling's great redemption stories and to a team whose spirit matched the colorful flair of its sponsor.
