Mapei-GB was one of the most dominant and visually unmistakable squads of the late 1990s, their iconic multicoloured cube design becoming synonymous with cobblestone classics and grand tour glory. Backed by the Italian adhesives giant Mapei and riding Ernesto Colnago's legendary frames, the team boasted a roster of incredible talent including Johan Museeuw, Andrea Tafi, and Franco Ballerini, riders who turned the Spring Classics into their personal playground. The famous 1-2-3 finish at the 1996 Paris-Roubaix, with three Mapei riders crossing the velodrome line together, remains one of the most iconic images in cycling history. That kaleidoscopic cube pattern, bold and instantly recognisable in the peloton, perfectly reflected a team that was never afraid to race with colour, ambition, and flair. This jersey captures all of that spirit, right down to the subtle Italian tricolore on the collar honouring the Colnago heritage at its heart.
