KAS was a Basque cycling team that became one of the most recognizable forces in Spanish professional cycling, backed by the popular soft drink brand from Vitoria-Gasteiz. Through the 1980s, under the KAS-Skil-Sem banner, the squad boasted fierce climbers and tenacious stage hunters who lit up the Vuelta a España and left their mark on the Tour de France.
