Racing primarily in the Belgian and Dutch classics between 1986 and 1988, the squad featured tough Flemish riders who thrived on cobblestones and crosswinds. Sponsored by Japanese electronics giant Hitachi and exhaust manufacturer Bosal, the team embodied the eclectic commercial spirit of professional cycling in the 1980s, when unlikely brand pairings found a perfect canvas on the peloton.
