Helyett-Leroux was one of the great French squads of the late 1950s and early 1960s, carrying the hopes of a nation during the golden age of continental road racing. Powered by legendary riders like Jacques Anquetil in his earliest professional seasons, the team bore the name of the Helyett bicycle manufacturer alongside co-sponsor Leroux, a chicory company deeply rooted in northern France. Their kits were a study in understated Gallic elegance, favouring clean lines and simple colour contrasts that stood out in the dusty pelotons of the Tour de France and Paris-Roubaix alike. These bib shorts pay tribute to that proud heritage, pairing the classic black silhouette with the distinctive Helyett branding that once adorned some of the fastest riders in the world.
