Costante Girardengo, the first man to truly dominate Italian cycling, earned the title "Campionissimo" long before Coppi ever turned a pedal. Racing through the 1920s and into the early 1930s, he claimed six Milan–San Remo victories and two Giro d'Italia titles, becoming a national hero in an era when cycling was Italy's most beloved sport. This jersey celebrates the partnership between the Marc Superia bicycle brand and Hutchinson tyres, a classic Franco-Italian collaboration that outfitted riders chasing glory on dusty European roads. The bold Girardengo lettering across the chest is a proud nod to an age when a rider's name alone could inspire an entire peloton. With its striking white-and-blue colorway and elegant striping, this piece captures the romance and grit of pre-war professional cycling at its finest.
