Filotex made its mark on the Italian peloton during the late 1960s and early 1970s, sponsoring a squad that carried the bold blue and white colours through some of cycling's most dramatic seasons. The team was closely linked with the G.B.C. and Libertas co-sponsorships, a familiar arrangement in an era when Italian brands jostled for visibility on the roads of the Giro d'Italia and beyond.
