Cinelli OPD was the Belgian team that carried the mercurial talent of Franck Vandenbroucke during the twilight of his career, a rider whose brilliance on the bike was matched only by his turbulent story off it. The 2008 kit, with its stark black-and-white palette and bold checkered flanks, captured the restless energy of a squad racing on passion and grit in the continental peloton. Vandenbroucke, once the golden boy of Belgian cycling after his breathtaking 1999 Liège–Bastogne–Liège victory, found in this team a final stage on which to chase redemption.
