BIC, the French brand famous for its ballpoint pens, lighters, and razors, became an unlikely but beloved presence in professional cycling when it sponsored a team from 1967 to 1974. Under the guidance of directeur sportif Maurice De Muer, the BIC squad boasted formidable riders including the great Luis Ocaña, whose fearless attacking style on mountain stages thrilled fans and terrified rivals in equal measure. The team's original jerseys were predominantly orange, making this striking pink variation a playful homage that reimagines the classic kit with a softer, rosy palette while preserving the iconic stick-figure logo and bold lettering. Ocaña's dramatic battle with Eddy Merckx at the 1971 Tour de France remains one of cycling's most legendary rivalries, and wearing BIC colours is a nod to that era of raw, uncompromising racing.
