Seit ihrer Gründung 1997 im Dorf Gaiole in Chianti ist die Veranstaltung zu einer weltweiten Bewegung herangewachsen, die die Schönheit des langsamen Radfahrens, den edlen Einsatz und die zeitlose Romantik der offenen Straße feiert.
